The City of Park Hills would like to inform residents, businesses, and commuters of an upcoming temporary road closure at the intersection of East Main Street and Flat River Drive, located at the traffic light near the central business corridor. The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 23, 2025, and is expected to remain in place for approximately 4 to 6 weeks, depending on weather conditions and project progress.
This critical infrastructure project will focus on repairing and improving the intersection, ensuring safer and more efficient travel for motorists in the long term. During construction, no through traffic will be allowed in the closure area, and detour routes will be clearly marked to help redirect traffic safely around the work zone.
Roads Closed to All Traffic
Detour Routes
Westbound traffic will be redirected via Spruce Street to Congress Street, continuing west to Mitchell Street and back to East Main Street.
Eastbound traffic should follow the reverse path to return to Business 67 or other destinations.
A detailed detour map is available on the City’s website and will be posted on official City of Park Hills social media platforms. Residents and travelers are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time for travel, and exercise caution in and around construction zones.
We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work to enhance our city’s infrastructure. For additional updates throughout the project, please visit www.parkhillsmo.net or contact City Hall at 573-431-3577.
