St. Francois County Community Walk

St. Francois County Community Walk

Join us for the St. Francois County Community Walk on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Owl Creek Park for a fun and educational morning outdoors!

Hosted by University of Missouri Extension as part of the statewide 100 Miles, 100 Days initiative, this guided community walk encourages residents of all ages and fitness levels to get moving while connecting with others in the community.

Participants will enjoy a guided walk through Owl Creek Park while learning about native and invasive plant speciesfound throughout the area. Whether you're participating in the 100 Miles, 100 Days challenge or simply looking for a great way to spend a summer morning, this event is a wonderful opportunity to stay active, enjoy nature, and learn something new.

The walk is free and open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend. Bring a friend, wear comfortable walking shoes, and join us as we take steps toward a healthier community together!
